Single-functional testers

Electrical installation safety testing is a wide subfield of general electrical safety testing and encompasses both troubleshooting and fault-finding in complex industrial installations and simple, often periodic testing of only specific parts of the installation. The former usually requires the use of multifunctional testing devices, while the latter can be more conveniently done by testers with far fewer test and measurement functions.

Metrel has several dedicated single function electrical installation safety testers in its portfolio. Some are suitable for testing of low voltage installations protected by an IT earthing system as commonly found in hospitals, while others are dedicated IMD, ELM and RCM devices testers or support 1 or 2-clamp earth and ground resistance measurements.
